This is interesting, because it's obviously self-serving for NV to talk about this now, but they are also completely correct.
NVidia spent years profiting off the crypto tulip mania and pumped up GPU prices to insane levels. Now they act like they don't want anything to do with it.
AI/ML is infinitely more useful to society than crypto, both in potential and even in already realized functionality today.
I also think some bean counters at NV will be happy that they no longer have to try to line up supply of a product that has a lead time of months at best with the fluctuations of the crypto market.
