Hello and welcome ,
the idea behind it is pretty much what i did last few months in the MetaSteam thread aka to post trailers, vediocontent orsimilar "embeded" news and videocontent for interesting games and their updates for games that either dont have their own OT or i am not that intereste in them to make an OT for .
Why?
Well after recent discussion in SteamMeta i found that people have been having problems with my videonews summaries on mobile and overall ive been thingking of creating such thread for months ... so the "whining" was last straw t actually made me fo it
And why i do my summaries, well I just love to check around and browse the stores and socials for intresting stuff and love the "form" of trailer and well if i am already doing it for myself for ears why not do it here , some people (hopefully) find it usefull
What to post? (not really worth to be called rules as its just summary of how i do my trailer summaries)
- I always try include link to the store the game in question is launching on (with exception of eggs which i if anything mention by text as i dont really want to suport that launcher)
- If its about release date , and its not obvious from storepage or the trailer itself , i quote the date.
- I usually include in the summaries even staff i created own threads for and if its big news for such game , i inclute direct link to the post with short text[/SIZE]
- I searchthe MC first if OT or news about the game already exists in the forum and if yes post the info there (with occasionally posting proling to it in the summary and I add all threads created by me to the summaries aswell
- I try to post as recent trailes and news as possible as it appears on YT but its not mandatory (like currently i still have sum stuff from E3saved in my browser tabs and not posted)
- For every summary post i will post linkto SteamMeta with short text what included
- Post as much as you want, the more interesting news and stuff here, the better for everyone, have you seen a game you think could be cool? share it.
- Enjoy and participate as much as you can, discover new games, share the ones you found, build something big. I wont do this forever and not gonna do it like
